Battle of Britain Remembrance Service

Today, officers from the Trafford Neighbourhood Team came together to commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of Britain, taking part in a memorial service and laying a wreath in remembrance.

We reflected with gratitude on the courage, dedication and sacrifice of the men and women of the Royal Air Force and the Allied Air Forces whose bravery and determination helped secure victory during one of the most pivotal moments in our nation's history.

We also recognise and honour their successors, who continue to serve with distinction in operations around the world, upholding the values and traditions established by those who came before them.
