Shaftesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team This week has been a busy period for the team, with a focus on community engagement, partnership working, enforcement activity, and safeguarding. Key activities included: Hosting a community contact point at Open House to engage with local residents and discuss concerns.Operating the Mobile Police Station at Lidl, with thanks to community members who attended and spoke with officers.Conducting several joint visits with housing partners Abri and SNG to address local issues and support residents.Assisting the Sturminster Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) with an arrest, with further information to be shared by the team.PCs Matt and Chris attended the Dorset County Show, engaging with the public and promoting community policing.Undertaking closure and compliance visits, including follow-up action where breaches were identified and reported.Overall, the week involved proactive community engagement, collaborative work with partner agencies, enforcement activity, and ongoing efforts to address antisocial behaviour and support local residents.
