No Insurance? No Car - Complaints Regarding Anti-Social Driving Leads to Car Seizures

During our recent PACT meeting in August for the Northern Quarter beat our residents raised concerns regarding anti-social / loud driving amongst areas in Ancoats / NQ leading to our team to commit to tackle this issue.

Our team with the help with a cohort of student officers had been hard at work with a day of action tackling driving offences during the weekend economy with complaints made regarding a surge of cars causing issues / ASB in the Manchester City Centre area.

During our day of action police have seized two vehicle for no insurance and 20+ Traffic Offence Reports issued out for drivers committing anti-social driving / dangerous driving around the Northern Quarter / Ancoats / Trading Estate area.

Our team will continue to work to tackle anti-social driving as part of our pledge during our recent PACT meeting and hope you to bring 

further positive results over the coming weeks / months.
