Crime Prevention Advice – Vehicle and Motorbike Security 🚨

South Wales Police are reminding residents to take extra care when securing their vehicles and motorbikes, following an increase in reports of vehicle theft and interference.

🔐 Please remember to:

● Always lock your vehicle, even when parked at home or for a short period.

● Check that windows are fully closed and keys are removed.

● Never leave valuables on display.

● Where possible, park in a well-lit, secure location.

● For motorbikes, use a quality chain and ground anchor or other approved security device.

● Consider additional motorbike security such as disc locks, alarms and tracking devices.

● If you have a garage, use it and ensure it is securely locked.

A few simple precautions can make a real difference in preventing theft and protecting your property.
