Traffic Enforcement

Dear Resident, 

Officers from Neighbourhood Policing Team were on proactive patrol in the Wrotham and Borough Green area recently and stopped a vehicle with a number of traffic offences and vehicle defects identified. 

Checks revealed that the driver was currently disqualified from driving and should not have been behind the wheel. A subsequent inspection of the vehicle found it to be in a dangerous condition, making it unfit for use on the road and posing a significant risk to other road users. The vehicle was immediately seized and the driver will now appear before the court in relation to the offences identified.

NTP is motivated to increase Road Safety by removing dangerous vehicles and disqualified drivers from the road network to help reduce the risk of serious collisions and crime.
