🔒 Protect Your Shed and Garage from Theft

Sheds and garages are often targeted by thieves looking for bicycles, tools and garden equipment, and with the darker nights drawing in, we would like to share some crime prevention advice. 

✅ Always lock doors and windows
✅ Fit a good quality padlock
✅ Secure bikes and tools inside
✅ Consider a shed alarm
✅ Mark and register valuables on Immobilise

The most commonly stolen items are bicycles, lawnmowers, sports equipment, power tools and garden tools.

🚗 Protect Your Vehicle – Don’t Make It Easy for Thieves! 🚗

A few simple steps can help keep your vehicle and belongings safe:

🔒 Lock it – Always lock your vehicle, even when paying for fuel.

🪟 Close windows and sunroofs – Fully close them to prevent thieves reaching inside or "fishing" for valuables.

🎒 Hide valuables – Take belongings with you or keep them out of sight. Don't leave bags, coats, loose change, phones, or other electronics on display.

📄 Remove important documents – Never leave vehicle registration or insurance documents inside your vehicle.

🅿️ Park smart – Choose well-lit, busy locations with CCTV coverage. Avoid isolated or poorly lit areas and, where possible, park near entrances or exits.
