CRIME update for August 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Forest Recreation Ground & Arboretum Police beat area during the month of August.

Burglaries residential = 1

23/08 Palin Street – Occupant left back door open whilst upstairs attending to other concerns, upon returning downstairs discovers laptop has been stolen.

Criminal damage = 3

10/08 Noel Street – Rear windscreen of vehicle smashed following disagreement/dispute with offender.

25/08 Mansfield Road – Break into courtyard overnight by rough sleeper and has put up a makeshift shelter causing damage to outdoor pallet seats.

26/08 Gregory Boulevard – Road rage incident resulting in damage to passenger side front door of vehicle.

Theft of motor vehicle = 0

Theft from vehicle = 0

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
