Positive Action in Thane Villas and Mayton Street, N7

The Finsbury Park Town Centre Safer Neighbourhood Team has been working closely with residents following concerns raised about drug-related activity and anti-social behaviour in the Thane Villas and Mayton Street area.

During a recent Ward Panel meeting, residents reported issues involving individuals openly using drugs and engaging in disruptive behaviour within the neighbourhood. We understand the negative impact this can have on residents and have taken proactive steps to address these concerns.

In response, officers increased high-visibility patrols in the area and engaged with residents to gather information and develop a clearer picture of the issues affecting the community.

As a result of this ongoing work, officers on patrol arrested a male on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply controlled drugs. The individual remains under investigation.

This positive outcome highlights the importance of community intelligence and partnership working. We would like to thank those residents who took the time to report incidents and share information with us. The information provided has been invaluable in helping officers identify concerns and act.

The Safer Neighbourhood Team will continue to conduct patrols in the area and work alongside residents to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.
