Your local LEOS NHT have attended a partnerships training course this week which has increased our knowledge of upcoming NHT related interventions and partner agency working. We look forward to implementing these measures across our patch soon.
Good News:
Following the investigation into a theft from the person on VALLEY ROAD where jewellery was taken, a number of Elmdon residents assisted with CCTV enquiries. This suspect has now been located in SWEDEN and arrested for a different offence. We are currently in conversation with Swedish Authorities. Again, thank you to all of those who helped us with CCTV.
Concerns were raised about an abandoned vehicle on MOUNTJOY CRESCENT which was SORN (Statutory Off Road Notice). We attended the location and seized this vehicle. You Said, We Did.
We have conducted a series of housing visits across Elmdon this set following various community concerns of ASB, parking, and noise nuisance. Appropriate action has been taken and further action will be taken if issues persist. You Said, We Did.
The team made two arrests in relation to outstanding court warrants for two of our most prolific offenders on the patch. After a short chase the pair were located inside an address in locked up. They have now been put before the courts and are being dealt with for the matters.
The team have issued a number of Community Protection Warnings based upon information we have received about anti-social behaviour in the area. The suspects have been located and dealt with them now firmly on our radar going forward.
A suspected drug dealer in the area has been stopped and searched following a short chase. Class B drugs have been located and seized, and the male is now going through the process to deal with the possession.
The team jumped in to assist with a high-risk missing person who was a vulnerable child who was able to be safely located and returned to loved ones thanks to the help from our officers.
Next Week: I am currently compiling a list of updates following my last message about localised Elmdon concerns, please look out for this next week.
Have a fantastic weekend,
