Teens arrested following burglary in Caister

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a burglary in Caister-on-sea.

The incident is reported to have taken place on Midland Close between 9pm Tuesday (8 September) and 6am Wednesday (9 September 2026), in which suspects have entered a property and stolen money, a safe, and keys from within. The safe was later recovered on the beach nearby.

It was further reported that during a similar time frame suspects attempted to steal a motorcycle from outside of a property on Manor Road, Caister.

Following enquiries, officers arrested two teenagers yesterday (Wednesday 9 September) at approximately 6.15pm on suspicion of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle. One of the teens was further arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.

They were both taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, where they currently remain.
