Neighbourhood Teams

On this set of shifts your neighbourhood team have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks

We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green retail areas deterring shoplifters, Hill Hook Nature Reserve and Badgers Bank Road after reports from residents of Anti-Social Behaviour.

Theft of Motor Vehicle

Gibbons Road – A Grey Jaguar Friday 4th September was stolen by unknown means on Friday 4th September 2026 between 00.00hrs and 06.30hrs.

Dawny Drive – A Blue Land Rover Discovery was stolen by unknown means on Monday 7th September 2026 between 20.00hrs and 08.00hrs.

 If you do own a keyless entry vehicle, please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.

 Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap, before heading out make sure your home looks like someone is in.

Surgeries

Four Oaks Baptist Church, Mere Green.

Spoken to residents about issues in the area and gave crime prevention advice.

 Street Watch

A Street Watch patrol has been carried out in Sutton Park with our members of Sutton Park Street Watch speaking to walkers in the park.

A BIG thank you to all our volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers for Street Watch Members to join our existing Street Watch Groups on Hill Village Road, Dunton Close and Harvest Fields Estate.

Speed Watch

A Community Speed Watch has been carried out on Little Sutton Lane; 10 vehicles were recorded exceeding the 30mph speed limit. Advisory letters will be sent to the registered keepers and results sent to our Road Harm Team.

Sutton Park

Officers have been out on pedal cycles in Sutton Park deterring anti- social behaviour.
