CRIME update for August 2026 |

Dear Resident Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Dunkirk Police beat area during the month of August.
Burglaries residential = 1 30/08 Cloister Street – Student property broken into and items stolen from within.
Criminal damage = 2 06/08 University Boulevard – Graffiti tagging causing cosmetic damage. 22/08 University Boulevard – 2x males causing damage to tram stop.
Theft of motor vehicle = 0 Theft from vehicle = 3 19/08 Lace Street – Bag along with logbook and bank cards stolen from within. 23/08 Ednaston Road – Front passenger side window smashed to gain entry, items stolen from within. 25/08 Highfield Road – Theft from motor vehicle reported.
