CRIME update for August 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Dunkirk Police beat area during the month of August. 

Burglaries residential = 1

30/08 Cloister Street – Student property broken into and items stolen from within.

Criminal damage = 2

06/08 University Boulevard – Graffiti tagging causing cosmetic damage.

22/08 University Boulevard – 2x males causing damage to tram stop.

Theft of motor vehicle = 0

Theft from vehicle = 3

19/08 Lace Street – Bag along with logbook and bank cards stolen from within.

23/08 Ednaston Road – Front passenger side window smashed to gain entry, items stolen from within.

25/08 Highfield Road – Theft from motor vehicle reported.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
