Cannabis producers jailed after £1m factory in old BHS store disrupted |
||
|
Hello Resident, Two cannabis producers have been jailed after Thames Valley Police officers disrupted a factory with more than £1m-worth of plants in the old BHS store in Slough. Our Berkshire East Neighbourhood Policing Team identified and dismantled the large cannabis factory inside the former High Street shop before CID’s investigation helped to bring Ajet Begu and Aryan Turya to justice. Our intervention no doubt had a significant impact on those producing and supplying cannabis in Slough and wider, but we are continuing to investigate the cannabis factory’s links to organised crime. We will not tolerate those who attempt to exploit our communities, and to bring to drugs into them. It is only a matter of time before we arrest you, stop your supply and seize your drugs and cash, and take you to court. We actively work with the public to build a picture of drug dealing across the Thames Valley. Therefore, if you have any information or suspicions of drug dealing in your communities then please leave details on our website, visit a police station, or call 101. You can read more about our efforts to fight illegal drug supply on our website. Kind regards,
