Attempted Burglary - There has been one report of attempted burglary between Tuesday 1st September 2026 and Wednesday 9th September 2026. 

On 1st September 2026, unknown offender/s have attempted to gain entry to the property through the front door by trying the door handle on ASPBURY CROFT.

Theft of motor vehicle – There has been two reports of Theft of a motor vehicle between Tuesday 1st September 2026 and Wednesday 9th September 2026.

On 1st September 2026, unknown offender/s have stolen locked, parked and unattended vehicle on PARKFIELD DRIVE.

Between 7th and 8th September 2026, unknown offender/s have stolen locked, parked and unattended vehicle on FAIRCROFT ROAD.

Theft from a motor vehicle – There has been one report of Theft from a motor vehicle between Tuesday 1St September 2026 and Wednesday 9th September 2026.

On 8th September 2026, unknown offender/s have approached a locked, parked and unattended vehicle and stolen front bumper, bonnet and number plate on TRAVELODGE CAR PARK, CHESTER ROAD.

Interference with a motor vehicle - There have been no reports of Interference with a motor vehicle between Tuesday 1st September 2026 and Wednesday 9th September 2026.  

What the team have been up to this week:

1x female arrested in Kinghurst for Breach of Court Order

1 x male arrested for several shop thefts in Smiths Wood

Stolen vehicle recovered from a garage in Chelmsley Wood area after tracking to the area

2 vehicles recovered for no road tax and insurance from Castle Bromwich and Smiths Wood

PC Wheatley has again been taking part in a new initiative visiting local youths who are heading in the direction of knife crime and exploitation. This initiative concentrates on prevention and intervention to reduce knife crime.

Hi visibility patrols in Kingshurst following an increase in anti-social behaviour around Marston Drive

We have conducted a Speed Watch with our local volunteer group on Beechcroft Road

This is along our normal hotspot patrols, crime follow ups and CCTV trawls
