CRIME update for August 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the New Lenton Police beat area during the month of August. 

Burglaries residential = 1

Between 03/08 and 23/08 Harley Street – Burglary due to builders leaving property insecure. 

Criminal damage = 1

22/08 Kyte Street – Children playing football in street causing a nuisance, have then gone on and pulled vehicle wipers causing damage.

Theft of motor vehicle = 0

Theft from vehicle = 3

09/08 Grove Road – Air pump, gear stick, work key and money stolen from within.

14/08 Devonshire Promenade – Box of tissues removed and found down the street.

Between 25/08 and 26/08 Hungerton Street – Vehicle window smashed to gain entry, Dior perfume, blue disabled parking permit and purse containing bank cards and money stolen from within

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
