CRIME update for August 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Lenton Triangle Police beat area during the month of August. 

Burglaries residential = 2

08/08 Derby Road – Student property broken into and items stolen from within.

19/08 Ilkeston Road – Burglary of bedroom reported.  

Burglaries residential unconnected building = 1

16/08 Elmsthorpe Avenue – Bike stolen from shed which was locked with a padlock. 

Criminal Damage = 2

09/08 Cottesmore Road – Substantial damage to vehicle whereby a bike has been used to smash windscreen and put dents in soft top. 

13/08 Ilkeston Road – Vehicle wing mirrors kicked off.

Theft of motor vehicle = 0

Theft from vehicle = 2

08/08 Henton Row – Several items stolen from within.

10/08 Ilkeston Road – Number of items and money stolen from within. 

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
