Parking outside schools

Now schools are back after their summer break, if you take your child to school in a vehicle, please remember to park safely and appropriately, remembering not to park on double yellow lines, zigzags or other restricted sections. Please park considerately to other residents and do not block drives, dropped kerbs or crossings. 

Speeding Concerns - Brunshaw Avenue

Following concerns from residents about the behaviour of drivers on Brunshaw Ave, myself and PCSOs Cozens and Dodd undertook a a speeding op on the junction with Coleshill Ave. Of the 95 vehicles we observed in the 40 minute period, 34 drivers were found to be driving above the speed limit, and I issued a driver with a Section 59 warning for careless driving. 

Seatbelts

Please ensure you and all passengers are wearing seatbelts for every journey, no matter how far. Ensure children are in the correct car seat for their height and weight, or wearing a seatbelt if they are old/tall enough to not need one.
