Neighbourhood Policing Weekly Update - Verwood | Alderholt |Three-legged Cross Dear Resident Over the past week, your local neighbourhood policing team has continued to work proactively to address community concerns and keep our area safe.
✅ Drug Investigation Officers investigated and interviewed an individual in connection with the possession of controlled drugs. Tackling drug-related activity remains a priority, and we will continue to pursue intelligence-led enquiries to help keep our communities safe.
✅ Community Contact Point PC Julia and PCSO Juliet attended the Morrisons Community Contact Point Saturday 5th September 2026, speaking with numerous members of the public about issues affecting the local community. Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with us. The information you provide helps us identify local priorities and target our patrols where they are most needed.
✅ Mobile Police Station On 3 September 2026, the team hosted a Mobile Police Station, providing residents and local businesses with an opportunity to speak directly with officers. We engaged with members of the public, discussed community concerns, and gathered valuable intelligence relating to recent shoplifting incidents affecting Tesco Express and Morrisons. We appreciate the information shared and will continue to work with retailers and the community to address these issues.
✅ Intelligence Gathering and Patrols The team is currently developing intelligence regarding suspected drug-related activity in Verwood, Alderholt and Three-Legged Cross. We encourage anyone with information that could assist our enquiries to report it via the Dorset Police website or anonymously through Crime stoppers.
👮 If you see us out on patrol, please feel free to stop and speak with us. We are always keen to hear about any concerns you may have and discuss issues affecting your neighbourhood.
Thank you for your continued support.
