Community Engagement and Reassurance Patrol
PCSO Naz carried out two home visits yesterday in relation to a reported crime involving local residents. Immediate action was taken by attending both home addresses and speaking with the parties involved. Crime Prevention Advice (CPA) was provided to both residents, and the matter was resolved positively. Both residents were satisfied with the outcome and appreciated the support provided. In addition, a foot patrol was conducted in the Shakespeare Square area to monitor for any anti-social behaviour (ASB) and to engage with local residents. High-visibility patrols remain an effective way of reassuring the community, providing residents with the opportunity to meet their local officers and discuss any concerns they may have. Maintaining a visible presence in the area helps build positive relationships with residents, strengthens community confidence in policing, and encourages partnership working to make the area safer for everyone.
