Fraud Prevention Talk at Heron Court |
||
|
Yesterday, PCSO Sethi and PCSO Abashi had the pleasure of visiting residents at Heron Court to deliver a fraud prevention and crime awareness talk.
The session focused on helping elderly and vulnerable residents recognise common scams and frauds, while providing practical advice on how to stay safe and protect themselves from becoming victims. It was a fantastic opportunity to speak directly with members of the community, share information, and answer questions.
We were delighted by the level of engagement from residents, who actively participated throughout the talk, raising thoughtful questions and sharing their own experiences. The discussion highlighted just how important it is for communities to come together, look out for one another, and stay informed about the latest fraud tactics.
We would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to such a positive and welcoming event. Building strong relationships with our communities is a key part of neighbourhood policing, and these conversations play an important role in keeping residents safe.
If you have any concerns about fraud or would like crime prevention advice, please report fraud to Action Fraud via www.actionfraud.police.uk or by calling 0300 123 2040.
Together, by staying informed and supporting each other, we can make our community a safer place for everyone.
