Community Information Alert

We have received reports of individuals offering driveway and surfacing work at heavily discounted prices. A common approach is to claim they have surplus tarmac from another job or that their vehicle has broken down nearby, allowing them to complete work cheaply.

Residents are advised to exercise caution. Such work is often carried out to a poor standard and can leave homeowners significantly out of pocket.

Before agreeing to any work:

If you have concerns about suspicious activity or believe you have been targeted by a scam, please report it to the appropriate authorities.
