Community Engagement Event at Chapel Walks |

Today, officers from Trafford Neighbourhood team attended a successful community engagement event at Chapel Walks alongside our partners from L&Q and Trafford Council. It was a pleasure to meet with residents, listen to your concerns, and discuss the issues affecting the community, particularly those relating to crime and anti-social behaviour.
We understand that reporting anti-social behaviour or criminal activity can sometimes feel daunting. However, we would like to reassure residents that any information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence. Personal details will never be disclosed to those who are the subject of any report or investigation.
Information from residents is often some of the most valuable intelligence available to us. Many people choose not to report concerns because they feel the information may be too minor or assume that someone else has already done so. In reality, seemingly small pieces of information can become highly significant when combined with reports from other residents, CCTV footage, and intelligence held by partner agencies.
Details such as when particular individuals attend the area, locations where groups regularly gather, vehicles linked to suspicious activity, or the times at which anti-social behaviour occurs can help us build a clearer picture of what is happening and identify those responsible.
We would always encourage residents not to place themselves at risk by confronting individuals or attempting to investigate matters themselves. Instead, please report your concerns and allow the appropriate agencies to assess and act upon the information provided.

Working Together
Greater Manchester Police, L&Q and Trafford Council remain committed to improving the quality of life for all residents at Chapel Walks. We are working closely together to understand the issues affecting the area and identify the most effective ways of addressing them.
This may include police enforcement activity, tenancy enforcement measures, anti-social behaviour interventions, improvements to security arrangements, and other appropriate actions where necessary. The more information we receive, the better equipped we are to take positive action where the evidence supports it.
