Cold callers

We have been made aware of cold callers in the Baswich, Weeping Cross & Wildwood areas 7th & 8th September offering roofing repair services. One caller has felt this suspicious as the males knocked on saying they had spotted a loose tile on their bungalow whilst doing the neighbours roof. None of the neighbours were having repairs done. 

Always be cautious of door to door sellers & if you do need works carrying out use a local reputable firm or get a recommend from friends or family. Never hand over any money up front and get a written quote of the cost before work commences. Never feel pressured to get the job done there & then & always get more than one quote for comparison.
