Cuckooing Awareness

Dear residents, I am writing to inform you in raising awareness and identifying cuckooing. Cuckooing is typically where vulnerable people are targeted for the purpose of taking over their property, exploiting a homeowner, selling drugs from a property, having parties round their house claiming they are a friend. By definition Cuckooing is when criminals take over someone's home to use it as a base for crime. 

The victim's home may be used for:

dealing drugs

storing weapons

sex work

other illegal activities
