***Attempted Burglary - GREVILLE AVENUE, SELSDON***

Dear All,

We would like to make residents aware of an attempted burglary in GREVILLE AVENUE, SELSDON.

Between Wednesday 2 September 2026 at 22:00hrs and Thursday 3 September 2026 at 07:30hrs an unknown suspect targeted a residential property.

The resident went to bed as normal, however on waking the following morning they discovered that the barrel from the front door lock had been removed and stolen.

Fortunately, entry was not gained to the property and no items were stolen from inside. The only item taken was the lock barrel itself.

Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles to police. If you have any CCTV, Ring doorbell footage, or witnessed anything suspicious in the area during the times stated above, please report it to police.
