What’s Been Happening

. Burglaries

No residential burglaries to report, 😊

.Vehicle Crime

Unfortunately, a van was broken into on Sadler Road and tools were stolen from it. Vehicle was locked and secure at the time.

Your CCTV helps us solve real crimes. We are urging local businesses, residents, and community groups to sign up to our CCTV registry online: CCTV Registry | West Midlands Police. It only takes five minutes and can help us bring more opportunistic burglars and thieves to justice. 

You can mark all property with a UV marker making it easier for lost or stolen property to be returned should the worst happen. It is also a good idea to keep a record of where you marked the property and note down any serial numbers. You can register valuables at www.immobilise.com

. In other News

The team have been busy as usual in the past week.

A vehicle was seized as it pinged up on ANPR that it had no tax as it drove past officers. Vehicle seized and now the driver will have a hefty bill to pay to get it back.

Another vehicle looked a bit out of place, when officers spotted it. Checks made and it turned out to be stolen from Nuneaton about three months ago. Vehicle will be reunited with it’s owner.

Officers have also arrested two people for Failing to Attend. If you commit a crime and decide not to bother to go to court to face the consequences, be warned, our eagle eyed officers will find you.

A parcel was intercepted at Birmingham Airport with a delivery address in Bablake. When parcel was opened by customs, it contained 2kg of cannabis!!!! 

Investigation ongoing.

Reminder Put the Date in your Diaries…….. the next Bablake Police and Community Meeting will be held at Allesley Village Hall at 7pm on Thursday 10th August.
