Great news, the knife bin on Chapel Street, Knaresborough is being used, and I emptied it last week. Just a polite reminder regarding the knife bin: The bin is intended for the disposal of bladed articles that could be used as weapons.To help prevent injury to officers and staff handling the contents, please wrap bladed items securely in cardboard before depositing them in the bin.Kitchen knives and garden tools should be disposed of at the Council Recycling Centre, either at Penny Pot Lane or Wetherby Road.Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep our community safe. |
