Local Fraud Message

We know you flagged that fraud is a concern for you, so this is a quick update to tell you how we’re addressing concerns and supporting residents.

Please be aware we have received a report of stolen card and funds from the Cherry tree Tesco's cash machine. The victim has placed their bank card in the machine which has then been held by a hidden device and taken by suspect. Please mindful when using external cashpoints , officer will conduct checks when on patrol in the area.

We consider fraud to be a serious crime and will put the time in to tackle it however we can. In the meantime, there are ways to keep yourself safe.
