Notting Hill Carnival

Dear residents,

We are reaching out as a thank you for your patience and resilience over the weekend. Our team had been entirely extracted to support policing the Notting Hill Carnival event. 

Notting Hill Carnival is one of the Met's largest annual policing operations. Over the August bank holiday weekend, more than one million people attend the event, with around 7,000 officers deployed each day to help keep the public safe.

We are now back on our dedicated wards. Our team continues to conduct both high visibility patrols, un-marked patrols alongside policing operations. We appreciate your continued communication with us and encourage you to continue to do so that we can achieve the best outcomes for your area.
