Back to school

As the new term starts, schools welcome back their pupils including the new starters. It's as important as ever that we continue our Safer Outside Schools work, in order that we can deliver the message to children at an early age that the Police are here to help (not to “come and take you away”!). Invariably our presence outside school gates is popular with children, parents and school staff. Also we can keep an eye on parking issues, and road safety matters such as speeding. Encouraging a positive Policing approach at an early age is important. 

Oswestry Rural South have six primary schools on our patch, this morning we were at Morda Primary where we spent time talking with pupils, parent and staff.
