Burglary Near You - Carlton Road, Keighley BD21

Dear Resident

You are receiving this message because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred at an address on Carlton Road, Keighley. At 2.40am on 02/09/2026, the occupants disturbed 3 males wearing balaclavas and gloves trying to break into the house by snapping the house door lock. The suspects fled on foot through the garden and over a wall. No entry was gained to the address. 

Crime occurrence 13260499098 refers. 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (please add times if known) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
