Good News - Royal Victoria & Albert SNT - Possession of Offensive Weapon Arrest

On the SUNDAY 23rd of AUGUST 2026 at 0254HRS in BRITANNIA VILLAGE E16, PC Shane APPLETON, PC Adnan EGAL, PC Nathaniel LAMPTEY and S/PC Shakir BHOJANI were on marked patrols when they spotted a parked black Skoda with three males inside, they were seen smoking cannabis and were all detained.

Upon searching the vehicle PC APPLETON located a large black combat knife in a sheath in the rear passenger seat. The rear passenger admitted to it being his and was arrested for being in possession of an offensive weapon.

This resulted in community resolutions and an arrest for an offensive weapon.
