Dear Residents.

Beware of Distraction Scammers

There have been reports of individuals posing as parking attendants or helpful members of the public offering assistance at parking payment machines and cash machines (ATMs).

These offenders are targeting vulnerable and elderly people, they attempt to:

Protect Yourself

If You Feel Suspicious or Threatened

Shout loudly for "HELP!"

Drawing attention to the situation can deter offenders and alert people nearby.

Please make your neighbours and elderly residents aware of this scam and encourage them to remain vigilant while they are out and about.

Stay alert. Stay safe. Report suspicious behaviour to the police.
