Working Together to Keep Our Community Safe

Dear Resident,

We would like to update you on some positive work recently undertaken by your local Neighbourhood Policing Team.

What we did:
Targeted Patrols around the town centre, focusing on Nuisance vehicles

Town centre, Sittingbourne

Date:
23/08/2026

Outcome:
3 e-scooters seized, 2 traffic offence reports for driving in accordance with a licence and without Insurance and 1 arrest for Taking (a vehicle) Without the owners consent. 

Why this matters:
This activity is part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our communities safe, addressing local concerns, and working with residents and partner agencies to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.
