I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. VAWG Patrol Update - Gants Hill
Dear Residents,
Officers from the Barkingside Safer Neighbourhood Team recently carried out a Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) patrol in and around the Gants Hill area.
During the patrol, officers engaged with members of the public and provided crime prevention advice focused on personal safety and keeping women and girls safe. VAWG information leaflets were also distributed to raise awareness and promote reporting of any concerns.
The team remains committed to conducting high-visibility patrols and working closely with the community to ensure Gants Hill and the surrounding areas remain safe and welcoming for all.
