What is a Ward Panel?

A Ward Panel is a community-led group where local residents meet regularly with our Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) made up of dedicated police officers and PCSOs assigned to your area. Ideally chaired by a volunteer, the panel reviews local crime trends and discusses issues like antisocial behaviour, crime, or safety concerns. Together, we set priorities and action plans to address what matters most to you.

What We Aim to Achieve

The Ward Panel is your chance to:

Share your concerns and ideas to shape local policing priorities.

Collaborate with the police to tackle community issues.

Build trust and transparency through open dialogue.

Your voice matters! By attending, you’ll help ensure local policing reflects our community’s needs. No prior experience is needed—just a desire to make a difference.

Good Afternoon Heston East Ward Panel Members,

We wish to remind you that we will be holding the next Ward Panel Meeting on Wed 14th Oct at 7pm until 8.30pm at the Heston Community Centre on Vicarage Farm Road we would like to see as many as possible to up on the evening so we can discuss the concerns raised to us during these past few months and plan the way forward for the Heston East Policing Team. During the Meeting we will be discussing the Promises made in the Last Ward Panel Meeting and discuss the Progress made in them and we will be looking into having some New Promises for the Following 3 Months ahead for the Local Policing Team to concentrate on.

The following are the Promises made in the Previous Ward Panel Meeting.

Increase of Patrols in regards to ASB caused by youths around the Local area which include Knocking on peoples doors and running away and Calling Emergency Services, Causing Damange to new Growth in the Local Parks and shouting and causing noise late at night.

Stopping Theft of Packages and Parcels in the the Lampton Park New Development area.

Look at the Drugs and Drinking Taking place around Known Locations on the Ward and help deter the problems it causes.

Patrol the Heston Park and Lampton Park areas of the Ward due to Personnal Thefts taking Place in these areas of the ward items such as Bags and Mobile Phones.
