What is Cuppa with a Copper?

Cuppa with a Copper is an informal community drop-in session organised and led by your local Safer Neighbourhood Team. It provides an opportunity for residents, businesses and visitors to meet the police officers who work in the area, discuss local issues, ask questions, and share any concerns they may have.

There is no formal agenda, no presentations, and no structured meeting format. Instead, these sessions are designed to offer a relaxed setting where people can have one-to-one or small-group conversations with local officers over a cup of tea or coffee.

Whether you would like to discuss crime and antisocial behaviour, raise concerns about your neighbourhood, seek crime prevention advice, or simply get to know your local officers, we encourage you to drop in and have a chat.

These events help us better understand the issues affecting our community while giving residents direct access to the officers responsible for local policing. Conversations are informal, and attendees are welcome to stay for as little or as long as they wish.
