Good evening to you all from the Four Oaks and New Hall Neighbourhood Teams

On this set of shifts your neighbourhood teams have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks

We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green retail areas deterring shoplifters.

Four Oaks Neighbourhood

Theft of Motor Vehicle

Plough & Harrow – A White Mitsubishi was stolen by unknown means on Monday 24th August 2026 between 17.30hrs and 07.00hrs.

Harrison Road – A Silver Ford Transit Van was stolen by unknown means on Monday 24th August 2026 between 17.00hrs and 23.00hrs.

 If you do own a keyless entry vehicle, please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.

 Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap, before heading out make sure your home looks like someone is in.

Surgeries

Four Oaks Baptist Church, Mere Green.

Spoken to residents about issues in the area and gave crime prevention advice.

Street Watch

Street Watch patrols have been carried out with, Hill Village, Harvest Fields and Dunton Close Street Watches, posting crime prevention advice, dealing with fly tipping, speaking to residents and dealing with local issues reported to the neighbourhood team.

Sutton Park

Officers have been out on pedal cycles in Sutton Park deterring anti- social behaviour.

Raksha Bandham

Families from the Hindu Community visited Sutton Coldfield Police Station to thank our Police Colleagues for the work carried out in the local communities.
