Shaftesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team

Over the last week, We have been busy working proactively and responding to incidents across Shaftesbury.

Here is a little snap shot of some of things we have done.

Liaised with housing authorities regarding local issues and concerns.

Supported a Person experiencing a mental health crisis

Continued to manage and support the resolution of ongoing neighbour disputes.

Worked with partner agencies to address concerns relating to vulnerable individuals.

Attended a licensing hearing concerning Tumblers, which resulted in the premises being closed from future sales.

Oversaw the installation of CCTV in Angel Lane to help deter and provide evidence for any future antisocial behaviour (ASB).

Hotspot patrols in and around Shaftesbury

Overall, The team focused on partnership working, safeguarding vulnerable people, resolving community disputes, regulatory enforcement, and crime prevention measures through improved CCTV coverage.
