Bike seizure

Good Afternoon,

As a result of residents contacting the Police and partner agencies due to their  concerns over the misuse  of Electric bikes and E Scooters in the town centre and the Langley area of Middleton.

 Thursday 27th August the Neighbourhood policing team where  out  on patrol  actively looking for bikes and scooters being used in an anti social manner, it was not long before we had our first customer.

An  individuals attempted to flee from PC Murphy a short foot chase ensued with the offender being apprehended and the bike being seized under  section 165  driving with no licence and insurance.
