Dear Residents

Back to School Reminder: Please Park Considerately

With the summer holidays coming to an end and children preparing to return to school, we would like to remind everyone to park safely and considerately around schools and residential areas.

Please be mindful of where you leave your vehicle, especially during the busy drop-off and pick-up times. Parking on pavements, zig-zag markings, near junctions, driveways, or in locations that obstruct visibility can put children and other road users at risk.

A few extra minutes spent finding a safe parking space can make a significant difference to the safety of our young people. If possible, consider walking part of the journey or parking a little further away from the school.

Let's work together to keep our children safe and ensure our roads remain accessible for residents, emergency services, and other motorists.

Please park responsibly, think before you park, and help make the return to school a safe one for everyone.
