High-Visibility Patrols in Barkingside and Fairlop Wards

PCSO 7005EA Martin and PCSO 7113EA Naz  carried out joint high-visibility patrols across the Barkingside and Fairlop wards, providing reassurance and a visible police presence within the community.

Patrols were conducted at a number of locations, including The Co-operative in Fairlop Ward, to help deter anti-social behaviour and shoplifting. Officers also carried out patrols in Inglehurst Gardens, following reports from residents regarding speeding vehicles and concerns around inconsiderate driving.

In addition, a recent theft of a motor vehicle was reported in the Inglehurst Gardens area. Officers conducted proactive patrols to provide reassurance and deter any criminal activity, including vehicle crime and anti-social behaviour.

Barkingside Safer Neighbourhood Team will continue both daytime and late-shift patrols across the ward to help deter motor vehicle crime, anti-social behaviour, and violence against women and girls, whilst providing a visible and reassuring presence within the community.
