Community Event - Stoneleigh Park

On Wednesday, Officers from the St James and Waterhead Neighbourhood Team and GMP Mounted Unit attended this week’s HAF community event in Stoneleigh Park, Derker.

The summer events were organised by local community group  - Friends of Stoneleigh Park (FOSP) whose volunteers worked tirelessly to run the sessions.

Officers regularly attend these events to meet and speak with residents to improve confidence and trust in the Police and to help build and strengthen relationships with young people.

Children had the opportunity to meet Officers, sit in Police vehicles, test the blue lights and meet our horses.
