We would like to make you aware that a stolen motorcycle, reported stolen from Lancashire, has been recovered in the bin chute area at Vale House, Oldham.

We are appealing to residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, vehicles, or individuals in the area. Information from the community can play a vital role in preventing and detecting crime.

To help reduce vehicle theft and motorcycle crime in the area, please consider the following advice:

Always lock your vehicle and remove keys, even when parked outside your home.

Never leave valuables, bags, tools, or electronic devices on display.

Use additional security measures such as steering wheel locks, immobilisers, alarms, chains, and ground anchors for motorcycles.

Park in well-lit and secure locations whenever possible.

Consider installing a tracking device on motorcycles and high-value vehicles.

Ensure your vehicle's software and security systems are kept up to date.

Be cautious of anyone showing unusual interest in vehicles parked locally.
