Annual Turners Hill Summer Fete

 

Officers engaged with a huge range of visitors across all ages, and the energy was nonstop.
The Police vehicles were a massive hit — the kids loved them… almost as much as the parents.
Great community spirit, great conversations, and a great reminder of how valuable these local events are.
Thanks to the organisers, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by to chat.

#Project Servator

Officers continue to carryout Project Servator depolyments which includes Gatwick Airport. Working in partnership with Border Force  is key conducting highly and unpredictable patrols.

Officers look for tell-tale signs a person may be planning or preparing to commit a crime.
Activities are deliberately varied in location and timing to make it difficult for criminals or hostile actors to predict police operations.

You have a vital role to play in helping the police by reporting anything that doesn’t feel right, for example an unattended item or someone acting suspiciously. Report suspicious activity immediately to a police officer or member of staff. Or call your local police on 101. Suspicious activity is anything that seems out place, unusual or doesn’t seem to fit in with day-to-day life.
If it’s an emergency, for example if you find a suspicious package, always call 999.

E-scooters and electric bikes

Officers have been following up complaints of the use of E-scooters, concerns raised by local residents has been about the use of the scooter in a public place, which have caused alarm and distress to both pedestrians and vehicle users.

If you breach the rules when using an e-scooter/e-motorbike you could face a fixed penalty notice, the seizure of your e-scooter/e-motorbike and its disposal.

Electrical scooters (also known as e-scooters) come under the category of 'powered transporters'. This covers a range of personal transport devices that are powered by a motor. For advice and information please visit our web page here
