Dorchester Neighbourhood Policing Team - Update
It’s been a couple of weeks since our last update……here's a snapshot of some of the things we’ve been up to recently
3x arrests made, including 1x Drink Driver 3x Section 35 Dispersal Orders issued to persons found acting anti-socially in the town centre 1x person searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act x1 Person issued with a Community Resolution regarding the possession of drugs Compiling evidence for a Criminal Behaviour Order for one of our anti-social behaviour nominals Continued partnership work with Aster Housing Group to seek possession of a property in Poundbury, following repeat reports of anti-social behaviour which is effecting local residents 6x Joint Housing Visits Intelligence led hotspot foot patrols in the town centre and a number of villages, liaising with local residents and shop workers Directed foot patrol and carrying out crime enquiries following recent reports of wildlife being targeted on the River Walks Plain Clothed foot patrols in the town centre targeting shoplifting 4x Disruption visits made to ‘Knife Carrying Nominals’ 1x Op Revoke referral made to the DVLA. This occurs if there are grounds to suspect a licence holder has failed to comply with their legal obligations to notify the DVLA of a potential relevant medical condition that may affect their ability to drive safely 1x Missing person located Multiple crime prevention visits made to vulnerable persons and businesses
