Fake messages from water companies Nationally there has been an increase in fake communications purporting to be from a local water supplier. The messages appear genuine, using authentic logos and professional language. Messages could be in any form e.g. text, email, social media etc:
Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (DVDS) Also known as Clare’s Law, the scheme allows information about a person’s history of domestic abuse or violent behaviour to be shared with a current or potential partner. It operates through two routes; Right to Ask where a member of public requests information, and Right to Know, where police proactively disclose information to someone they believe may be at risk. Members of the public can apply for DVDS through Police Contact Enquiry Officers on 101; or Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary website Request information under Clare's Law: Make a Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (DVDS) application | Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary
