Appeal launched to find rightful owner of suspected stolen motorbike

Officers are trying to find the rightful owner of a motorbike that is suspected to have been stolen.

The vehicle was found and seized by officers during the early hours of Thursday 20 August in Church Street, Riddings.  

It is suspected that the vehicle number plate has been cloned and the ignition tampered with.

The true registration and rightful owner of the motorbike is unknown at this time however enquiries are ongoing to establish this.

The motorbike is quite rare and is a red Yamaha SRV 250 dating from 1992. 

Officers have released an image of the motorbike as part of our enquiries.
