Attempted Burglary Near You - Glenwood Avenue, Baildon BD17

You are receiving this message because you live in the vicinity of an attempted burglary on Glenwood Avenue, Baildon. This occurred sometime between 15/08/2026 and 23/08/2026. The victim returned from holiday to find the front door handle and lock snapped but no entry had been gained to the property.  

Crime occurrence 13260482264 refers. 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it. The attacked premises is close to the junction with Higher Coach Road. We appreciate this is quite a broad time frame.  

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
