Over the weekend, our team patrolled the Hope Valley to address various incidents and monitor the parking, with a particular focus on Winnats Pass. As a designated Clearway, it is essential that this route remains unobstructed and moved on a number of vehicles, though some owners could not be located as seen in the pictures. We have previously requested additional parking restrictions for Winnats Pass during the consultaion for the other parking restrictions, however these proposals were not approved by Highways during the process. Maintaining access across the Hope Valley remains a priority for the team as we understand the impact for the local community going about their day to day lives. We continue to work alongside the council’s Civil Parking Enforcement Team to manage these issues and would encourage members of the public to report any parking concerns directly to the council to ensure they are recorded and addressed.
